For this project we had to replace the ground floor joists as they had rotten, we removed a load bearing wall to open the stairs. The new stairs were fitted by an external company, we also opened the original fireplace discovering some fantastic looking stone. The owner decided they wanted to make the stone a standout feature of the room. So that’s what we did! lastly, we plastered throughout. This downstairs was completely transformed into a fresh vibrant living space.
